Chapter 8

“Sure I’d love to come and keep you company it’s just that I got to be home by a certain time that’s all.” Says Chels.

“What time do you need to be home by?” asked John.

“10:00pm.” answered Chels.

“10:00pm; you serious or what.” Says John with a stunned look on his face.

“Yeah I’m serious and I know its shit aye.” Said Chels.

“Darn right it is shitty; Is your sister Mel like strict with you being out late or something?” asked John.

“Yeah kinda she’s just doing that because she cares about me that’s all.” Answered Chels.

“Oh okay.” Said John.

“I know I hate it though :(.” Says Chels with a sad look on her face.

“Cant she like let up a bit and let you stay out a bit later especially even if it’s on a Friday or a Saturday night?” asked John.

“I wish she would but I know she won’t let up because after what I did behind her back one night with my bestie Karla of 3 years :(.” Answered Chels sadly.

“What did you do that made her go mad and strict on you?” asked John.

“well I went out clubbing with Karla one night and we stayed out till like 9:30am the next day and when I got home my sister was so pissed off with me because I went clubbing and she was pissed that I went and got in with pretending that I was 18 and that I stayed out till like half past 9 the next morning with Karla and that’s how she end up becoming so strict on me.” Answered Chels.

“Omg you seriously kidding me right; that’s unbelievable.” Says John.

“I’m not kidding you and yeah it is unbelievable haha.” Said Chels laughing.

“So when do you start your first day at school?” asked John.

“Monday; I am pretty excited; nervous and scared all at the same time.” Answers Chels

“ Cool; are you going to Sayreville High?” asked John.

“There’s no need to be scared you know that right.”

“Hell yeah I am going there.” Answered Chels in excitement.

“Whoa I hear someone’s in a good mood about starting at a new school.” Says Mel coming into the conversation going on between John and Chels.

“Would you fucking mind not eaves’s dropping Mel this conservation has nothing to do with you?” Chels asked her sister in a snipey voice.

“What I just want to make a comment that’s all; you shouldn’t get angry at me for no reason.” Answers Mel walking out annoyed at her younger sister’s sniping her head off.

“I’m not getting angry with you; I am just sick of you eaves dropping in.” says Chels.
