“So?” asked Chels.

“So.” Answered John.

“Were you going to say something to me then?”

“I don’t know I think so; but I have forgotten what I was going to say.” Answered Chels.

“Lol.” Says John.

“So do you wanna come in?” asked Chels.                                                                                                

“Sure I would love to but only for a bit because well Mum and Dad want to expect that I be home by dinner time; because besides I am stuck babysitting my brothers Matt and Tony while Mum and Dad go to this ridiculous important function of theirs that’s on at 7pm.” Answered John.

“That’s Ok I can understand that.” Says Chels.

“Do you really?” asked John shocked.

“Yes I do you silly billy you.” Answered Chels giving John a whack on the arm.

“Hey wth was that for?” asked John.

“That’s just a friendly pat Johnny.” Answered Chels.

“Oh yeah okay I understand now.” Says John.

“Ok excuse the mess of this place atm rockstar; it’s not much of a house really because we are waiting for our furniture to get here lol.” Said Chels.

“You are excused babe.” Says John.

Chels gave John a tour around the house but saved her room till last; and she even introduced him to her sister.

“And last but not least is my room Johnny; I know it won’t look like a bedroom because furniture isn’t here yet.” Says Chels pushing her bedroom door open.

“Wow nice it’s an on suite or something right?” asked John.

“Yeah it is I chose this one because it has a walk in wardrobe with a bathroom at the end kind of thing.” Answered Chels laughing nervously.

“Oh wicked I would die to have a bedroom like this haha.” Laughed John looking impressed by Chels’s room.

“What are you doing tonight; Please tell me you are not busy?” asked John with pleading eyes.

“Nope I am not busy tonight.” Answered Chels.

“Why do you ask?”

“Because well my parents are leaving me at home to watch my brothers Matt and Tony while they go out to this stupid function of theirs at 7 and I need extra company so I don’t get bored.” Answered John.

“No I am not kidding you man.” Says John.

“BUMMER!” Said Bobby feeling really bummed out.

“OMG! you will never guess what has happened when I was outside with Matt and Tony in the front yard while playing footy.” Exclaimed John.

“What man; tell me?” asked Bobby.

“Our new next door neighbours moved in to the house next door and the neighbours happened to be 2 girls and 1 of them is the same age as me man.” Answered John.

“WTF Dude you are joking me; i bet you she is a hottie man.” Says Bobby shocked.

“Nope I am not joking ya and yep I reckon she is hot too haha.” Said John laughing.

“Haha lol.” Laughed Bobby.

“Look man I better go because I am going next door to say hi to the new neighbours okay; I will see you at school on Monday.” Replied John.

“Yeah man see ya at school on Monday.” Says Bobby.

After John hanged the phone up from yakking away to his best friend of 4 years; John went to tell his mum and dad that he was going next door and be back in time for dinner and to watch Matt and Tony.

“Mum, Dad just going next door to see the new neighbours okay I will be back soon.” Says John.

“OK; honey.” Says Carol.

So John went off next door to see the new neighbours and tried to make sure to be back by dinnertime or else his mum would of gotten annoyed.

Meanwhile next door the girls were kicking back and relaxing before they could even get stuck into unpacking their suitcases just when all the sudden the door bell rang.

“I’ll get the front door.” Says Chels.

“Okay.” Says Mel too busy looking at her phone to even care.

So Chels got up to go and answer the door to see who it was; she hoped it wasn’t a neighbour wanting to pull a prank on her; but when she got to the front door it was no prank being pulled at all, it was just a neighbour coming by to say hi and welcome her to New Jersey.

“Hey.” Says Chels.

“Hey I am John; but my mates call me Johnny for short; I am from next door thought I might just come over and say hi and of introduce myself.” Replied John.

“Hey John I am Chelsea but I prefer to be called Chels for short.” Said Chels introducing herself.

“Chels; I like it nice nickname.” Says John.                                                                                                  

“And its cuter then your full first name too haha.”

“Thanks for the compliment.” Says Chels.

“Your welcome.” Says John.

“Matt; Tony and I were outside in the front yard mucking around playing footy and a cab just pulled up and dropped two girls off out the front of that house and get this I think that they are our new neighbours.” Says John getting excited by the minute.

“You think so?” asked Carol.

“Yes I know so; because I can feel it in my freakin’ bones mumma.” Answered John.

“Johnny; honey watch your language.” Says Carol.

“So can I go next door say hi to the new neighbours please??????????” asked John pleading to hope Carol would allow him to go next door.

“Alright but please be back in time for dinner besides you are watching your brothers tonight while your father and I go out to this function tonight it’s at 7pm.” Answered Carol.

“OK; I won’t forget besides how could I forget anyways.” Says John. 

“Although I rather be going out tonight and picking up hot chicks and hanging out with my friends.”

“Now John don’t start complaining because your mum and I got you tickets for that concert you went to last night with your friends Bobby and Danny; so you should be thankful for the tickets we got you for that concert.” Says John Snr.

“Sorry Dad I just rather be out with the guys and also picking up hot babes that’s all.” Says John apologising.

Just then the telephone in the kitchen started ringing off the cradle like a mad cow which had everyone go what the fuck.

“Mum I will get it; its probably Bobby wanting to annoy me.” Says John making a run for the kitchen.

So as soon as John got to the telephone in the kitchen he grabbed it off the cradle and answered it.

“Hello.” Says John.

“Hey man, What’s up?” asked Bobby.

“Not much dude.” Answered John.

“Are you busy tonight man?” asked Bobby.

“Yeah I am; why.” Answered John.

“Because Danny and I were thinking the 3 of us maybe should go and have a few drinks at the fastlane.” Says Bobby.

“No I can’t man; I’m sorry, I am stuck with babysitting Matt and Tony.” Says John.

“You have to be fucking kidding me man.” Says Bobby.

“I’m sorry babe.” Says Chels.

“Its okay chickadee.” Said Karla.

Just then Chels and Mel’s flight to New Jersey was mentioned over PA system: “Flight to New Jersey is boarding now at Gate 12.”

“Oh that’s our flight Chels; quickly say goodbye to your friend now.” Says Mel.

“Yep okay.” Says Chels not wanting to leave her best friend behind.

“Seeya chicky I promise that we will stay in contact and you better give me all the goss on whats happening with you in New Jersey.” Says Karla giving her best mate a hug.

“Seeya girlfriend and I will definitely keep in contact with you and I will call you once I’ve arrived in New Jersey okay.” Says Chels giving her best mate a hug back.

So Chels and Mel turned around and walked off towards Gate 12 to board their flight as the girls got to the other end of the tunnel and walked onto the plane they found their seats and sat down and buckled the belts up and waited for the plane to hit the runway and lift off into the air and take them to New Jersey.

After a few long hours sitting on the plane the girls had finally landed in New Jersey at exactly 2:00pm and they gathered their gear together and hopped off the plane they walked out to get their suitcases and then they left to catch a cab to their new house in Sayreville.

Meanwhile somewhere nearby in Sayreville John was as usual out in the front yard mucking about with his two younger brothers Matt and Tony playing football.

“Hey John it’s your turn to pass the ball you asshole.” Says Matt.

“Yes I know.” Says John not even paying attention to what Matt was saying.

“Earth to John Francis Bongiovi Jnr; are you even listening to Matt?” asked Tony.

“No look I’m sorry I’m just too busy paying attention to the house next door because I think we have someone moving in next door today.” answered John apologising.

“Oh and you hope that its some hot chick don’t ya?” asked Matt.

“I wouldn’t even have not one clue at all dude.” Answered John.

“We will wait and see what happens okay.”

“Okay.” Says Tony.

Just then a cab pulled up into the driveway of the house right next door to the Bongiovi’s and two girls got out and got their suitcases out of the boot of the cab and then the cab drove off and then the two girls went up and unlocked the front door to their new house and went indoors and popped their suitcases down.

John was couldn’t believe it with his own eyes that the new neighbours were just two girls that had moved in so he went and got his brothers and the 3 of them ran indoors to tell their parents what had happened.

“MUM! DAD! GUESS WHAT.” Shouted John coming running into the lounge room.

“What?” asked both Carol and John Snr at the same time.

“Me neither girlfriend I’m going to fucking miss you so much you know that.” Says Karla giving her best friend of 3 years a hug.

“I know because I am going to miss you too.” Said Chels.

“So you are really leaving for New Jersey for good then aren’t you?” asked Karla feeling sad.

“Yeah I am babe.” Answered Chels.

“I will come and see you off on your flight chick.” Said Karla.

“Yay I can’t wait; my flight is Saturday morning at 8:30am.” Says Chels.

“Okay I shall remember that and if you both need a ride to the airport I’m happy to give you a lift missy.” Offered Karla.

“I would like that bubba.” Says Chels.

So over the next week also Chels studied and did her homework everyday and she even stopped to take a break and help her sister with the packing.

By the end of the week all the packing was done and the removalists had come and picked up all the furniture and all the other heavy stuff that needed to be shipped off and taken to the girls new house in Sayreville, New Jersey.

All the girls had to do now was pack their suitcases and organise their handbags and get their flight to New Jersey for Saturday morning organised and once they had done that and Saturday morning came pretty fast so Chels and Mel got up at 6:00am to get ready and get their stuff together.

“Oh did I tell you Karla is giving us a lift to the airport this morning?” asked Chels.

“Yeah you did chick.” Answered Mel.

“Okay good because she will be here at 7:30am.” Says Chels.

So the girls made sure they had everything and then they stood around looking at nothing but an empty house.

“Wow I cannot believe it that we are really leaving California for good.” Says Chels.

“I know it’s scary lol.” Says Mel.

Just then the girls heard Chels’s best friend pull up in the driveway and beep her horn which meant it was time to get cracking and get going; so they got their suitcases and handbags together and made their way out of their old house out to Karla’s car.

“OMFG I am going to fucking miss you like hell woman.” Said Chels starting to get all teary eyed.

“I know me too missy; please don’t cry because then I will get all teary eyed lol.” Says Karla.

“I am really sorry it’s just that this is one of the biggest opportunities I have ever gotten and besides you are going to be able to settle in fine and fit in with all sorts of crowds at the school you are going to and you will make new friends eventually.” Says Mel.

“Well I have to tell my best friend of 3 years that I am leaving and am moving to New Jersey before I forget.” Says Chels.

After breakfast the girls went and got ready for school and work as Chels was getting ready she was trying to figure out a way to break the sad news to her best mate of 3 years but it wasn’t going to be freaking easy for her. By the time she was ready she got her school stuff and essentials together just as she was walking out of her room; her mobile went off and it was Karla calling so she answered it.

“Hey chickadee.” Says Karla sounding cheerful as usual.

“Hey Karla.” Says Chels not sounding too cheerful.

“Chick I am on my way to pick you up so we can go to school together like as always so I shall be there in 10 minutes.” Replied Karla.

“Okay.” Says Chels.

“Seeya in 10.” Said Karla.

“seeya.” Said Chels.

After Karla got off her mobile from chatting to her best friend of 3 years she was starting to worry about how Chels was acting on the phone but eventually she was going to find out soon or later so she left and went to pick Chels up on the way through to school; when Karla picked Chels up the first thing she asked her best bud of 3 years was what was with her earlier on the phone.

“Hey Chels what was up with you earlier on the phone?” asked Karla.

“you sounded like really upset.”

“Yeah I am upset because I have some awful news bub.” Answered Chels.

“Omg what news is it babe?” asked Karla.

“I hate to break it to you; I am leaving California and next week is my last week at school because my sister and I are leaving Saturday week.” Answered Chels.

“WHAT; No you can’t leave, you have been my best friend for 3 years and now you are leaving.” Says Karla.

“Look I know you don’t want me to go but I have to because my sister is putting our house on the market this weekend.” Said Chels.

“And besides I will be packing up and everything and you know what you will get to come and visit anytime you want.”

“OMG no way I would love to come and visit my best friend but without you here in California isn’t going to be the same.” Says Karla.

“I know but you know I’m going to never forget about all the silly shit we did bubba.” Says Chels.

It was Friday morning Chels awoke to her alarm clock going off; it was set for 6:45am because she needed time to get up and get ready for school. When she got up out of her bed she walked out of her room and went to the bathroom to wash up for breakfast as soon as she got downstairs she went straight into the kitchen where she found her 26 year old sister Mel getting breakfast ready for the two of them.

“Good morning sis.” Says Mel.

“Good morninggggg Sissy girl.” Replies Chels laughing her head off.

“Haha that’s too funny.” Said Mel.

“I know.” Says Chels.

“Look I don’t want upset you but there is something I have to tell you sis.” Says Mel.

“Well if there is something you want to tell me then do it okay.” Said Chels.

“Okay I got a call yesterday at about 11:30am it came from the local café manager/owner in Sayreville, New Jersey about a job as a waitress that I applied for online and guess what.” Says Mel in excitement.

“Let me guess; you got the job in Sayreville, New Jersey.” Says Chels.

“Yep you got that right; I did get it; so we are both moving Saturday week and I have looked up the highschools that are available for me to enrol you in down in Sayreville, New Jersey and the school that is the closest nearby is Sayreville War Memorial High School.” Said Mel.

“WHAT YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME!” snapped Chels.

“Look I am sorry chicky I have already and I will be putting our house here in California on the market to sell this weekend and I have bought us a new house in Sayreville, New Jersey.” Says Mel trying to calm her typical 15 year old soon to be 16 years old sister down.

“But what about my best friend Karla of 3 years?” asked Chels.

“You have to tell her and besides next week is your last week here in California.” Answered Mel.

“NO! This cannot be happening to me; jeez.” Groaned Chels.
